Farmhouse Fitness is a private gym housed in a converted barn in the village of West Heath, close to the villages of Ramsdell, Charter Alley and Pamber End, and a short distance from Baughurst and Tadley.
Here at Farmhouse Fitness, we offer an alternative to the “big gym experience” with a friendly, relaxed and personal approach, whilst providing serious training for serious results.
The gym is fully equipped with a range of professional equipment and we offer the chance to benefit from the personal attention that small group classes allow. There are also outdoor facilities for bootcamp style workouts in the warmer and drier months.
We offer circuit classes designed to work your whole body, improving cardio fitness, strength, posture and balance. Classes are limited to small groups enabling Tor to focus her attention on correct form, ensuring that the full benefit of every exercise is achieved whilst preventing injury. Variations of each exercise will be offered and demonstrated ensuring that all fitness and strength levels are covered. Circuits are different every week to keep your body and mind challenged. All you need to do is show up and do your best.

Whether you are looking to lose weight, build muscle, get stronger, train for an event, or just generally improve your health and fitness, Tor will be on hand with a training program and nutritional advice to help you achieve your goals.

Tor is a level 3 Personal Trainer and a member of the Register of Exercise Professionals (REP).
Tor has always had a passion for fitness and grew up horse riding, running and swimming, competing in triathlons and tetrathlons. In recent years, Tor has attended residential military bootcamps, yoga retreats and hiking holidays and has completed the London Moonwalk and a Great Wall of China Walk for charity.
Tor is passionate about health and believes that fitness is a vital part of good overall health, helping with both physical and mental wellness. She is enthusiastic about sharing her passion and encouraging everybody to find their optimal health and fitness.
Motivation – It’s inspiring and motivating to be surrounded by dedicated, likeminded people. Tor is very encouraging and will support you throughout the class.
Structure – The whole class will be planned for you, including a warm up, a balanced circuit and a cool down and stretch. No thinking necessary – just show up and get involved!
Variety – Different circuits every week using a wide variety of equipment. You won’t get bored!
Camaraderie and Friendships – There is something very bonding about working out in a group. It’s a great way to form friendships with like-minded people.
Lower Stress Levels – Studies have shown that people working out in a group can experience decreased levels of perceived stress and increased physical, mental and emotional quality of life
